The School of Education and Human Development hosts informal drop-in information sessions on day two of the New Student Orientation programs.  These sessions are outside of the official Orientation programming and entirely optional. We encourage you to register so we know which staff, academic advisors, and faculty to have on hand, but advance registration is not required.

Stop by the School of Education and Human Development (EHD) to learn about our majors and talk with EHD Admission representatives. UVA students must apply to transfer to the School of Education and Human Development from the College of Arts and Sciences. You may apply to Kinesiology, Youth and Social Innovation, Speech Communication Disorders, or a Teacher Education major during your first or second year of study. EHD applications for UVA undergraduate students open November 1st.
