Graduate Programs Open House

The Batten School has reinvented the Master of Public Policy, creating a bold new approach to developing the next generation of public leaders. As a current UVA student, you are exclusively eligible for the Accelerated Master of Public Policy — a unique pathway that lets you complete your MPP in less time without sacrificing the depth and rigor of a full Batten education. Current UVA students planning to attend should plan to be there from 10:30am to 4:30pm. We're also excited to share more about our new Master of Science in Public Policy & Data (MSPP&D), the newest addition to Batten's graduate program offerings. Join us on Saturday, October 17th for our Graduate Programs Open House, where you'll have the opportunity to learn more through sessions with current students, faculty, and alumni.

Schedule for Current UVA Students (10:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.) (times are tentative and subject to change)

• 10:30 a.m. – Arrive during Tour of Central Grounds & Office Hours with Admissions
• 11:00 a.m. – Welcome & Review of Day's Agenda
• 11:15 a.m. – Mock Class
• 12:00 p.m. – Break
• 12:15 p.m. – Academic Session: "Training the Next Generation of Policy Leaders"
• 1:15 p.m. – Lunch with Current Students
• 2:15 p.m. – Alumni Panel: "Life After Batten"
• 3:00 p.m. – Break
• 3:15 p.m. – Coffee with Dean Chou
• 4:30 p.m. – Depart
